A Perfect Day for Bananafish
I think is a very confusing story about a girl talking with her mom and then they left to the beach and she goes to a man called Seymour and she insist to go into the water. The man tell her a story about a Bananafish, how it looks , and she say that she saw one and then she goes to the room and a person stare at her feet and she get mad and then .. I don't get the end! i know the man kill him self but T don't get what happened.
I'm confused about what I read. At first she's talking to her mom about her husband and her mom is like getting on her cause because she hadn't called her. And her mother keeps telling the girl of how worried she is of her. It seems as her mother doesn't like her husband for some certain reason. And some little girl gets tricked because the girls dad tells her to look for a banana fish in the beach. Then almost at the end that men the girls dad kills himself. This was a very confusing story to read and I did not understand most of the story!!!

Summary of A Perfect Day For BananaFish
Well first off is the story's tone is sad. The little girl "Sybil" is young, and is left on a beach while her mother goes and has a martini. The little girl goes to a man named Seymour. She wants him to go into the water, she begs him. He goes into the water and puts her on his raft. Seymour told her all about the banana fish how they can eat 97 banana's in one day, and fit as many as six bananas in there mouth at one time. The little girl shouts and says, "I saw a banana fish." After she saw the banana fish they walked back to the location where the mother was at. While Seymour was walking back to his house some one was looking at his feet and he interrupted saying, "why are looking at my feet." They lady said, " i was looking in that direction." After that Seymour reached his hotel and he saw the young girl laying on the twin bed dead asleep. He took and gun and committed suicide shooting himself in his right temple.
